Become a Biology Major
Biology Requirements
Current IUPUI students applying to the School of Science Biology program must meet these Internal Admissions Requirements:
- Overall GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Successful completion of 12 credit hours
- Complete BIOL K101 or CHEM C105 and CHEM C125 with grades of C+ or better or both courses with grade of C or better.
- Students with grades below C- in any science course, including those science courses that have been repeated where the original course grade was below a C-, will not be admitted.
Declare Your Major
If you are an IUPUI student who is not in the School of Science or a current School of Science major who wants change your degree or pursue multiple majors in the School of Science:

Complete the Internal Admissions Application online.
Admissions decisions will take 4-6 weeks.
Students will be notified of admissions decision through regular mail.
