Research team developing and testing compounds for potential treatment of hydrocephalus
INDIANAPOLIS -- No drug treatment exists for hydrocephalus, the buildup of fluid known as "water on the brain" that can occur at any age.
A multidisciplinary team of researchers on the IUPUI campus has received a $1.8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Defense to gain a better understanding of hydrocephalus and commence developing potential treatments.
Biology Alumnus Receives the 2017 Distinguished Alumnus Award
The School of Science Alumni Association at IUPUI has presented Adam Kelly with the 2017 Distinguished Alumnus Award. Kelly earned his M.S. in Biology from the School of Science in 1998. The award was presented November 10 on campus.
